Top of the bill pneumatic high performance strapping tool, for ferrous and non-ferrous metal products i.e. coils, loads of bars, pipes, bundles, rods and curved or irregularly shaped packages. Its low weight allows a mobile operation without a balancer. The double notch joint is accomplished in a single operation.

Description

Due to its low weight the A482 does not necessarily have to be suspended. Straps of up to 0.90 mm thickness can be processed. The perfect double notch joint guarantees a strength of 75 %. The modern A482 optimizes the strapping of packages, mainly in the metal industry.

Steel to plastic conversion

In addition to the conventional systems for steel strapping, FROMM has developed equipment for polyester strapping. This new type of strapping is flexible, absorbing shock impact during shipping, loading and unloading more effectively than steel strapping. The range is divided in pneumatic, manual and electric tools. Electric tools allow an independent working range, ideal for applications requesting not only flexible handling of the tool but also high tension of the strap.
